Diagnosis: Amphibalanus Amphitrite Amphitrite is a type of marine organism, which is part of the Amphibalanusamphitrite Species, which is part of the Amphibalanus Genus, which is part of the Amphibalaninae Subfamily, which is part of the Balanidae Family, which is part of the Balanoidea Superfamily, which is part of the Balanomorpha Suborder. Amphibalanus Amphitrite Amphitrite is in the Sessilia Order and Thoracica Superorder, the Cirripedia Infraclass. It can be further characterized as in the Thecostraca Subclass in the Maxillopoda Class. It forms part of the Crustacea Subphylum, which is part of the Arthropoda Phylum that is in the Animalia Kingdom. This organism is a type of insects, arachnids and crustaceans. They are all invertebrates with an exoskeleton, jointed appendages and a segmented body.. Amphibalanus Amphitrite Amphitrite is related to or has the following physical characteristics: barnacles, named because they are curl-footed, live in shallow and tidal waters, typically in erosive settings, is a sessile suspension feeders, have two nektonic larval stages; the nauplius and the cyprid, before developing into a mature adult, most are hermaphroditic, a few species are gonochoric or androdioecious, marine, many have planktonic larvae that become sessile or parasitic as adults, no single character unites all the members, maxillopoda includes barnacles, copepods and a number of related animals, a cruwfstacean (crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill efwdand barnacles), body sewsfddimentedwfwf into the cephalon or head, the thorax, and the pleon or abdomen, has hard exsfsdfgoskeleton which is moulted during growth, majority have separate sexes, a small number are hermaphrodites, have a number of larval forms, with the earliest called the nauplius, an invertebrate, has an exoskeleton, has a segmented body, has jointed appendages, i.e. jointed leg, multicellular organism, eukaryote (nucleus and organelles in membrane), body plan becomes fixed eventually, excluding metamorphosis, motile (most species), must ingest another organisms or their product to live
