Calafia is a type of marine organism, which is part of the Stenetriidae Family, which is part of the Stenetrioidea Superfamily. Calafia is in the Asellota Suborder and Isopoda Order, the Peracarida Superorder. It can be further characterized as in the Eumalacostraca Subclass in the Malacostraca Class. It forms part of the Crustacea Subphylum, which is part of the Arthropoda Phylum that is in the Animalia Kingdom. This organism is a type of insects, arachnids and crustaceans. They are all invertebrates with an exoskeleton, jointed appendages and a segmented body..
